  • Fine, I give up.

I tried sending out a signal twice, and twice you insisted on giving me a response I couldn’t even read - not even in the reblogs.

You clearly have no interest in explaining your situation to me, instead resorting to insults (at least as far as the little bit on my tumblr dash goes) and given you presumably blocked me from euclase2 or set it to private, I’m not sure - the punchline being that euclase2 is just a white void for me that still has the follow option, while euclase is still working fine - feel free to think that constantly deleting blog posts and not bothering to explain this to those that wonder why that’s the case is somehow a proper way to behave.

Your followers apparently don’t know, either, or aren’t interested in educating me, since the only one who reblogged these posts directly from me is, well, you.

But, okay then, leave me in the dark so my image of you persists. Farewell.

  • How come you sometimes reblog the same thing multiple times in a row?

I’m reblogging different people’s responses to it, to respond to them.

But the reblogs from that article on the Sandy Hook shooting don’t have any additional content. Reblogs like this are the ones I’m wondering about.

Obviously when you’re not a Vanderbiltian silver fox, the sun just shifts it’s lighting all the time to make you look the exact same in all situations. It’s cosmic affirmative action!

This is a good post by one of the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender on color theory, and how color can look completely different depending on surrounding colors and context.

Didn’t it turn out the one on the right is of some porn comic where he’s boning Hercules?

  • After coming back from sleeping…

…I had noticed that euclase had reblogged my post and wanted to see her response, but it was already gone by the time I wanted to check. Somebody else had reblogged the post, too, but only kept the picture, which isn’t exactly helping.

Fine. If there was, indeed, a misunderstanding and you don’t delete your posts because of what I suspected, I’m willing to correct my stance on this. However, from the little snippet my dash has kept, you just told me that I was wrong without clarifying why and then went into another sentence that goes unfinished, leaving me to wonder about other reasons for this, which is basically impossible because Life isn’t a game of Mastermind where you got a fixed number of possible responses and then just go through the list until you hit the right spot.

However, while I’m at it, let’s go into your depressed man analogy and how he’d act if he had the same policy as you. The depressed man crawls out from beneath the bed and goes on a marketplace before telling a story about how he got that way to whoever’s there while he does it and is willing to listen to him, before deciding he’s finished, walks off to another spot of the market without a trace that he was there to begin and either goes on to tell another story on his new spot to repeat the process or crawls back beneath his bed. Call me inconsiderate, but this makes even less sense to me.

Again, I’m willing to hear your reasoning for why your posts keep disappearing. But for that, you gotta wait until I actually heard you.

Originally, I wanted to write a reblog to this post, but I couldn’t post it because the original was deleted before I had finished writing up the reply.

    Anyways, here’s my response:

“What’s rude about it, though? It’s happened multiple times by now that I wanted to share a post of yours, only for the post to be gone by the time I got around to remember it. Like, if it happened once or twice, fine, but it’s happened so frequently that it’s gotten baffling.

I mean, what’s the point of having a blog when you keep thinking that, because it doesn’t reflect well on you, it needs to get off the internet? You’re honestly making me think sometimes that I imagine these posts that get taken off the air. Not to mention, where would we get if everyone thought like this? "Oh, this makes me look bad, better hope nobody’s watching”? Sorry, but this is the internet. And the harder you try to erase it, the firmer it will be placed on the internet, and you need to realise that pretending you didn’t say certain things isn’t a “Get Out Of Jail Free Card”.

After seeing the first couple asks sent to you about unfollowing you, I thought they just overreacted. But after responses like this, I’m not even sure if I want to keep on following you. You’re definitely an incredible artist, but this snappy, inconsiderate, self pitying attitude of yours makes me rethink following you in the first place.“

That’s all I got for tonight.

I protest Gone Home winning any kind of video game award, because Gone Home is not a video game.

Well, maybe we can give it that, but it’s certainly not a good video game.

“Sorry if you’re interested in the writer going mad, but you - really - gotta look at this plot about lesbians who are lesbians. You’re not interested? What, are you not progressive?”

It’s not a video game because it doesn’t have any gameplay—hell, that’s one of the features used as a selling point on Steam. Might as well give the award to a lawnmower; that’s as much a video game as Gone Home.

It hits harder when you pretend it’s a game, though. One of the best deconstructions of Gone Home I’ve seen does essentially that: first put aside that whole “is it or isn’t it” drivel and then show that the problems lie deeper than “there’s nothing going on” - like how the game would rather have you learn about a boring lesbian relationship while you might be more invested in the side story thingies.
